Glenn Allen

Bio

Glenn is a lifelong musician, originally from Sacramento who began his early career writing and performing with some of the best talent in the local scene. He eventually made the move to Los Angeles and attended the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. There, he was exposed to many top shelf musicians and instructors, spending the majority of his time there in the audio production studios. He learned more about the recording process in a professional setting, and went on to work under several producers and engineers in the Los Angeles area as both a musician and audio engineer.

After spending nearly a decade in LA, Glenn moved to Seattle where he enjoyed playing for many years in the local scene with 80's cover band Rewind, entertaining clients such as Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Boeing, American Express, Expedia, and the NFL's Seattle Seahawks. Now back in Northern California, he is a guitarist and vocalist with Apple Z, lead guitarist for other Hip Entertainment bands, and working on original music being recorded at his studio in Sacramento, Glenn Allen Production.

Glenn’s music leans toward the adult alternative, singer/songwriter genre. His songs are reflective of life, love, loss, and the emotions that go with it. His voice is honest, his guitar style is bold, and his lyrics are primarily uplifting and contemplative. Glenn’s sound is a well-rounded blend of a variety of different artists, ranging from Journey, Duncan Sheik, Keith Urban, Bruce Springsteen, Sting/The Police, John Cougar Mellencamp,Tom Petty, and Eric Johnson to name a few.
